Thanks to some enterprising individual from the former Soviet Union, I now have the opportunity to rebuild my site from scratch. After seeing the complexity with which this person laced the site with snippets of code across nearly a hundred files, I have decided that hacking truly is an art form, albeit an ignoble and utterly reprehensible one.
As a result, I ended up deleting the entire directory, starting over with a completely fresh installation of WordPress. Over the next week, I will be adding new posts, evaluating old posts and re-posting the best of the last 7 years’ worth of content.
Hang tight, kids. We’ll be rockin’ and rollin’ again in no time.
